We are very excited to launch our new event: Empathy.co ShuttleCon.

‍An opportunity to bring together the software developer community in person and online to share knowledge and ideas about our industry.

The first edition of Empathy.co ShuttleCon will be held on the 10th of November from 17:30 to 19:00 at our headquarters in Gijón and feature four talks:

• José Manuel Redondo (Tenured Associate Professor at the Departament of Computer Science, University of Oviedo): DevSec for Speed: An Application Security Primer
• Miriam Abalo (Search Software Engineer), Ana González (Search Software Engineer) and Guillermo Vigil (Platform Software Engineer): K8s Happiness: From Kustomize to Helm charts
• Ana García (Backend Engineer): A different way of thinking: non-technical introduction to DSLs
• Pablo Cañal (Backend Engineer): The importance of an efficient Purchase History search for a multi-million dollar company

There are 30 seats available to attend in person. We will also broadcast it live on our Twitch channel.

For those attending onsite, after the event there will be a networking space with catering courtesy of Empathy.co.
